In 2005, a group of concerned citizens and dedicated medical professionals came together with a shared vision: to address the unmet medical needs of the underprivileged in Clemson, Central, Six Mile, and Pendleton. This collective effort culminated in the establishment of the Clemson Free Clinic. On April 6, 2005, we opened our doors, beginning our journey towards making quality healthcare accessible to all. In January 2011, we took a significant step forward by relocating to our new, purpose-built facilities at 1200 Tiger Blvd., Clemson, enhancing our capacity to serve the community.
Partnering with esteemed institutions such as AnMed Health, AnMed Clemson Family Practice, Prisma Health, Joseph F. Sullivan Center, and Mountainview Imaging, and supported by dedicated volunteers from the area, the Clinic has been steadfast in its commitment to providing free medical care to those in need.
At the heart of our existence lies a simple yet profound mission: to deliver high-quality medical care and essential pharmaceuticals with unwavering compassion and respect. We focus our efforts on individuals aged 16 to 64 who find themselves without the safety net of Medicaid, Medicare, or any other health insurance. Our services extend to Clemson, Pendleton, Central, and Six Mile residents, whose household incomes fall at or below the federal poverty level. By upholding this mission, we strive to uphold the dignity and well-being of every individual who walks through our doors, ensuring that no one is left behind in their pursuit of good health.
